Latrobe Bulletin Mon Sep 27, 1976 
Mrs. Gertrude Zundell Hoffman, 92, formerly of Latrobe, died Sunday in
Intermediate Care Facility Harland Appalachian Regional Hospital, Harland, Ky.
She was born Sept. 13, 1884, in Mt. Pleasant, daughter of the late David and
Margaret Devlin Zundell. She was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ
and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Henry D., in 1939, and one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Hoffman Saxman,
in 1960. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Boax of McKeesport, Pa.,
Mrs. Gladys Winters of Hayes, Va., and Gertrude Jane Hoffman of Baxter, Ky.; 10
grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends in M. S.
Hartman Funeral Home, Latrobe, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be
held in the chapel of the funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Donald
Freeman officiating. Members of the Order of the Eastern Star will hold services
at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Intermediate Care
Facility Harland Appalachian Regional Hospital, Harland, Ky., 40831.
