Mrs. Alice V. Jordan, 68, of Pleasant Unity died Tuesday. She was born Nov. 14,
1908, in East Huntingdon Twp., a daughter of the late Lee and Margaret Felker
McCabe. She was a member of the Pleasant Unity United Methodist Church. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Clarence, in 1973. She is survived by one son,
Clarence A. Jr. of Mammoth and two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Betty) Wininger of
Greensburg, and Mrs. Gerald (Evelyn) Walters, of Pleasant Unity; one brother,
Vinton McCabe of Washington, Pa.; four sisters: Mrs. Joan Barnhart of
Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. Mabel Pickford, Mrs. Leanna Crinebrook and Mrs. Florence
Troupf, all of California; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in James P. Gaut Funeral Home, Pleasant Unity, from 7
to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will
be at the home at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. John H. Piper officiating.
Interment will be in Lycippus Cemetery.
