Martin L Kloock, Sr., 81, of Latrobe died Thursday, June 11, 1998, in Bethlen
Home, Ligonier Township. Born Dec. 11, 1916, in Unity Township, he was a son of
the late Albert and Marie (Paschke) Kloock. A retired Westinghouse Electric
Corp. bearing mill operator, he was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Besides
his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lavina Stockberger Kloock, in
1993; seven brothers, Charles, Albert, George, Waiter, Fritz, Ameal and Ralph,
and three sisters, Erna Thurkins, Bertha Schultz and Sarah Shawley.
Surviving are two sons, Martin L., Jr. (and his wife, Virginia) of Conneaut Lake
and Walter (and his wife, Linda) of Greensburg; two daughters, Ruth Lenhart, of
Ligonier and Elaine McCreery of Bolivar; 10 grandchildren; four great-
grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence, and two sisters, Elizabeth Neiderhiser and
Mabel Mountain.
Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in
Dell-Frederick Funeral Home Inc., 1543 Ligonier St., Latrobe. Funeral service
will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Zion Lutheran Church, Greensburg, with the Rev.
John Harmond officiating. Burial will be In Twin Valley Memorial Park, Delmont.
