Dr. Poole was a member of the staff of the Frick Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the Ruffsdale Christ Reformed Church, Free and Accepted Masons, and the Shrine as well as of the Westmoreland Medical Society and the American medical Association. Dr. Poole was a captain in the Rainbow Division in World War I. He was a son of the late Dr. William B. Poole, who also practiced at Ruffsdale. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma M. Poole and two children: Mrs. Marjorie P. Waldron, of Ruffsdale, and Dr. Charles H. Poole, Jr., of Spartansburg, S. C. His 88-year-old mother, Mrs. Alena C. Poole and two brothers also survive. Friends will be received at his late home after today.
