Slaybaugh, No. 260 Locust Street, from tuberculosis. She has been confined to bed for the past three weeks. Her age was 55 years, 6 months and 18 days. The deceased was a daughter of the late Henry and Susanna (Shuman) Bolden, and was born in Heidelberg Township. She was married about 25 years ago to Mr. Alwood, who died several years ago. The deceased spent the months of April and May, 1916 in the State Sanitarium at Mont Alto and later made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Slaybaugh. She is survived by one brother, William Bolden, of West Manheim Township, near Pleasant Hill. She was a member of Trinity Reformed church. Funeral, Sunday, May 28, services at the house at 1:30 o’clock, Rev. M. J. Roth officiating, assisted by Rev. H. A. Snook. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, June 3, 1916
