Hartman, 69, of Lower Windsor Township, York RD 24, died at 8 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Dolores J. (Ruby) Hartman. The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Everhart Funeral Home, 1337 E. Market St., York. Burial will be private in Machpelah Cemetery, Lower Windsor Township, with no viewing. Mr. Hartman was born in Pleasureville. He was the son of the late Percy E. and Laura G. (Lehman) Hartman. He was a real estate broker and developer for 44 years. He had operated S. L. Hartman Real Estate in Dallastown until retiring in 1988, and was an avid admirer of thoroughbred horses. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he served at Normandy in the Rhineland and in Central Europe. He was a 1941 graduate of the then North York High School. Mr. Hartman also is survived by twin sons, Kent E. Hartman and Allan B. Hartman, both of York. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven L. Hartman. Officiating at the service will be the Rev.
