Blanche Kretz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kretz, died at the home of her 
parents, 215 Fulton street, Tuesday, May 6th, at 2:30 a.m. from typhoid fever.  
Her age was 23 years, 6 months and 28 days.

The deceased was the divorced wife of William Baumgardner, and she is survived 
by one daughter, Miss Beatrice; also, by six sisters and two brothers – Mrs. 
Sarah Scheivert and Mrs. Mary Beck, of near Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Charles Noel, of 
McSherrystown; Mrs. Wilson Leppo, and Mrs. Charles Musselman, of Hanover; Miss 
Bertha Kretz, George and Howard Kretz, at home.

Funeral Thursday, May 8, services at the house at 2 o’clock, Rev. A. M. Heilman, 
of St. Matthew’s Lutheran church, officiating.  Interment in Mt. Olivet 
cemetery.
