Sarah Martha Lutz
Gatchelville, July 20 - Sarah Martha Lutz, wife of James F. Lutz, of near 
here East Hopewell Township died suddenly at midnight Friday night. When she 
went to bed she was apparently in good health. She was awakened shortly 
before 12 o'clock by sharp pain and got up and started to walk about the 
floor, which awakened her husband. She lay down the bed and died within ten 
minutes after first getting up. Dr. Valle Hawkins, Fawn Grove was called, 
but could do nothing as death occurred before his arrival. She was aged 56 
years. She leaves as survivors, her husband, five children; Mrs. Clarence 
Montgomery, James M., Nelson O. and, Curtis G., Hume M., Hopewell Township; 
one sister Mrs. Annie Inners, Detroit, and four brothers, James M. F., A. W. 
C., and S. M. G. Mitzel, East Hopewell Township; and Elmer Mitzel, Red Lion. 
The funeral will be held Tuesday, meeting at the house at 10 AM, and 
proceeding to Mount Pleasant Lutheran Church, or services will be held 
interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.
