SCOTT
The funeral of Mrs. Sallie (Norris) Scott, widow of John Scott, late of Lower 
Chanceford Township, who died February 24th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Isaac Chandlee, of near Red Lion, was held at Union Chapel, in Lower 
Chanceford township, on the 27th. Services were conducted by the Rev. H. A. 
Stoke, pastor of the church, 
assisted by the Rev. C. B. Eby. The pallbearers were Joseph Norris, Thomas 
Ringland, Granville Ringland, Robert and John L. Scott and David Barnett. Mrs. 
Scott was within one day of being 80 years of age. She is survived by five 
children --- Alexander Scott, York; Alice McSherry, Wilmington, Del; Mrs Isaac 
Chandlee, Red Lion; Mrs. Robert Barnett and Mrs. Ida McSherry, of Chanceford.
