Newman – Sheely

Miss Cleopha R. Cheely (sic), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel H. Sheely, of 
Hanover, and Albertus E. Newman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob W. Newman, also of 
Hanover, were married on Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock.  The ceremony was 
performed by the Rev. Dr. F. S. Lindaman, pastor of Christ Reformed Church, at 
his home on East King street.  The bridegroom is employed in the Hanover Shoe 
Factory.  The bride has been in the employ of the Middleburg Manufacturing 
Company.

Mr. and Mrs. Newman left Saturday evening on a wedding trip to Baltimore and 
Washington.  They will reside at the home of the bride’s parents.
